Vince Agnello is a Competent Valuator (CoV) and consultant to the mining industry. He has more than 20 years’ industry experience; with 16 of those years as a CoV in all major commodities, minor minerals, and within a host of international jurisdictions. He has been employed in Snowden Optiro’s corporate advisory division for more than 14 years, where he is involved in market studies, independent technical reviews, audits and valuations of mineral projects and properties.

Prior to joining Snowden, now Snowden Optiro, in 2006, Vince worked for four years at the Department of Minerals and Energy as a commodity specialist. His focus was industrial minerals with reference to mineral markets, supply and demand, growth trends and statistical interpretation.

Recent projects include Competent Persons Reports and NI-43 101 Technical Reports for the listing of major producers’ platinum and gold portfolios; more than 30 valuations of mineral properties (platinum, coal, gold, graphite, uranium, bauxite, dimension stone and diamond); fair and reasonable opinions (diamond, copper, platinum); participation in 15 due diligence on mining feasibility studies/ projects for debt and project finance; and in-depth reports on uranium, copper, chromite, manganese, neodymium, vanadium, carbonates and coal. He has also undertaken regional bulk infrastructure reviews (rail, road, water and electricity) in southern Africa for junior and major mining companies.

Vince is a Competent Valuator (SAMREC), Qualified Valuator (CIMVAL) and Practitioner or Specialist (Valuations) under VALMIN Code.
