Sarah de Vries is a Principal Consultant based in Perth, focusing on Mine Electrification. With over 15 years of experience in open pit and underground operations across Australia and Africa, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. Over the past 8 years, Sarah has specialised in mine electrification technologies, working with First Quantum in Zambia, and FMG and IGO in Perth.
Her recent work includes modelling the electrification of an underground mine with IGO. Sarah’s expertise extends to electrification solutions such as trolley assist and battery electric haulage, along with In-Pit Crushing and Conveying (IPCC) technologies.
