Matt Walker, Senior Consultant from Geology Advisory, Snowden Optiro is a geologist with more than 12 years of experience through the mine cycle chain, covering production, resource definition and resource estimation across a variety of projects, commodities, and continents. Matt has wide variety of operational experience from team leading, departmental budgeting and compliance to plan, through to final in-mine reconciliation. He uses a first principals’ approach to geological interpretation in order to create mineralised models in 3D geological software (Leapfrog/Datamine), to allow for the delivery of functional block models. Matthew’s aim is to deliver on-time, robust geological models and systems that will contribute to a company delivering their strategic mine plan.
