Dr Kiara Alessio graduated from The University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Science (Advanced), majoring in Geology and Geophysics. She then continued on to do her Honours and a PhD, with a research focus on radiogenic element distribution and crustal heat production. After graduating, Kiara leveraged her communication abilities and interest in software development to move into R&D Tax and Technical Writing, where she worked to produce customer-orientated technical documentation for software companies in various industries. She now works at Datamine and Snowden Optiro as part of the Supervisor and Sirovision teams, producing technical documentation, video content, e-learning material and much more.
