Chris has worked as a mining engineer in the mining industry since graduating in 2006. Following his initial training with Rio Tinto Iron Ore in Australia, Chris moved to Snowden Consulting, initially in Australia then in South Africa gaining international mining experience of diverse projects including; Project management and completion of Scoping, Pre-Feasibility and Bankable Feasibility Studies, Independent Technical Reviews and Due Diligence studies for various ore deposits and providing on-site mine planning and mentoring to engineers at underground and open pit operations. Chris then joined Discovery Metals in Botswana as a Senior Engineer implementing various projects including; Surpac mine planning software and training of Botswanan engineers, full site reporting systems, blast design reviews and the start-up of a new open pit.
