What to review on commencement of a Life of Mine Plan, including topography surfaces, the block model, geological wireframes, existing/previous work/reports, covering the following disciplines:

Site visit requirements:

• What to look for in a site visit
• Documentation and site visit report

Mining operations strategy:

• Site layout review, location of haul roads, stockpiles and waste dumps
• Wet season mining strategy
• Stockpiling strategy, cut-off grades
• Equipment selection
• Mine to mill strategy including selection of the ore feed blend, including grade control, stockpiling, homogenising, and run of mine (ROM) pad sizing and management

Pit optimisation:

• Preparation of inputs
• The model
• Geotechnical parameters
• Mining dilution
• Recoveries
• Selection of financial parameters such as price and discount rates

Detailed design:

• Pit design
• Waste dump design
• Backfill
• Ramps and sumps
• Maximising grade in the early years

Life of mine schedule:

• Mining inventory estimation
• Life of mine (LoM) mining schedule, incorporating grade constraints, deposit sequencing, practicality, waste planning, backfilling, sheeting, weather and economics
