
Jake Gram
Jake Gram, is a Principal Mining Consultant – Mining Engineer, with over 14 years of underground mining experience, specialising in mine planning, production engineering, and operational improvement across complex underground operations. Based in Canada, Jake brings deep technical expertise combined with extensive site-based experience, enabling him to deliver practical, implementable solutions in challenging mining environments.
Jake has held senior technical and leadership roles at operations across Canada, the United States, and Mongolia, including Chief Mine Engineer positions and Superintendent of Production Engineering for large-scale underground mines. His experience spans short-, medium-, and long-term mine planning, production forecasting, panel establishment, automation and technology integration, and business improvement initiatives that directly support safe, reliable production.
He has worked extensively across a range of underground mining methods, including block caving, sub-level stoping, cut-and-fill, and longhole stoping, and is highly experienced with industry-standard planning and scheduling software, including the Deswik suite. Jake is known for bridging the gap between technical design and operational execution, while fostering strong safety and performance cultures within engineering and operations teams.
Jake holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a Professional Engineer (PEng) in Canada.
