Intern - Mining Engineering

Daniel Silva Dutra is a Mining Engineering student at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), currently completing an internship with Snowden Optiro.

During his internship, Daniel is supporting a range of internal and client-facing initiatives. His work includes contributing to the development of an AI-assisted interface for Snowden Optiro’s project and proposal database, consolidating CAPEX and OPEX benchmarks, and preparing value-add communications for clients.

Daniel is also developing practical skills in Datamine Studio UG and OP, assisting with the localisation of Snowden Optiro’s training materials for the Latin American market, and supporting the review of technical reports.

Through this work, Daniel is contributing to the strengthening of knowledge integration and information sharing across the business, while building a strong foundation in mining advisory and technical consulting practices.
