Pedro is a Senior Consultant – Mining Studies. He has more than twelve years of mining experience: specialising in pit and stope optimization, scheduling, mining strategy selection and design.  He has been involved in studies across commodities including Iron ore, Phosphate, Manganese, Gold, Niobium, Lithium and Copper. During the first few years of his career, Pedro worked in Brazil on a diverse number of projects including Open Pit and Underground studies, IPCC modelling and mine planning software implementations. Since 2018, Pedro has been living in Australia, where he had a leadership role, leading the Datamine technical team and running the core business until 2023. Pedro has returned to the technical studies work, joining Snowden Optiro in early 2023.
