Orestes is a Geological Engineer with more than 38 years’ of experience. He is a Principal Consultant based in our Chile office. Orestes is registered as a Competent Person with the Qualifying Commission of Competences in Mining Resources and Reserves of the Republic of Chile.

Orestes’ key skills are in QAQC, Statistics and Geostatistics, Resource estimates, Integrated project management, Technical and economic evaluation of mining projects, Investment planning and development geologist, Greenfield and Brownfield explorations, and in teaching. His experience has taken him to many countries, including Chile, Kyrgyzstan, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Argentina, Colombia, and Cuba.
