Do you have a multitude of small domains at different orientations, but don’t have the time to set up separate estimations for each? Would you like to be able to model around flexures in your domains without “chopping up” your wireframes? With Optiro’s proprietary Dynamic Anisotropy engine, you can model dozens of combinations of orientations with very little effort!
The Dynamic Anisotropy engine determines the bearing, plunge, and dip of the optimal ellipsoid at a number of locations within each domain, then assigns the ellipsoid parameters to each block in the model.
Next, the Estimation Manager performs estimations :
- for each unique set of bearing/plunge/dip parameters
- within each wireframe (object number)
- within each domain
- for each element
- for up to five estimation passes
All with no more than a few input parameters stored in a spreadsheet! You simply select the element, domain, and either static or dynamic anisotropy, and the Estimation manager does the rest. You can also perform one or multiple estimation “runs” at a time.
You can control the scale at which the dynamic anisotropy analysis takes place, and whether you want to consider only ellipsoids oriented along strike, down dip, or the best 3D orientation.
